Therapy for real life:
healing, growth, and authentic connection.
I’m glad you are here.
You are truly welcome with me— I love my work and feel it is an honor to accompany people through meaningful change. I have over 20 years of experience and I never feel done learning. Some things I am committed to are social justice, anti racism, body liberation and affirming queer and transgender/nonbinary people. My practice is a place where I want to help you feel seen, heard, and supported. Together we can do deep healing work to help you live your most full and satisfying life.
We can connect online anywhere in California or in person at my Berkeley/North Oakland office.
Life is short — let’s get to it!

AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), EFT (Emotionally Focused Couple’s Therapy), and IFS (Internal Family Systems) are the models of psychotherapy that most inform my work. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and SP (Sensorimotor Psychotherapy).
My approach to my work and life is also informed by my own healing work, my friends, family (chosen and some given), ancestors, nature, Buddhist Meditation, Judaism, Black Lives Matter, queer liberation and other social justice movements, and comedians and artists of all kinds.

I’m Sara!
I am a Licensed, Clinical Social Worker, with more than 20 years of experience and a deep commitment to ongoing learning. I aim to meet you with empathy, respect, curiosity and a bit of humor.
I’m on your side to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered to move forward. If you want to do deep healing work, I would be honored to help.

“We commit to our own healing in part because the realization of what we are dreaming of rests on it. It is our responsibility to one another to do our internal work, not so that we feel good alone but to stay an active part of the whole and to refuse to pass down to the next generation the pain we’ve accrued.”
